MADE TO ORDER

We take great care and pay attention to detail in the quality of our products and our policy is to ensure that all products supplied reach you in top condition.

As the majority of our designs are handmade to order, we are always happy to advise customers regarding style suitability, colour matching and measuring prior to placing an order.

Due to the nature of our designs, Maggie Mowbray Millinery does not accept returns on made to order, items which have been made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised or bespoke designs.   

If for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we will gladly work with you to modify your design to suit. 

We accept no responsibility for delays due to postal delays outwith our control.

In rare instances where the made to order item is returned to us due to non payment of legal customs fees in the destination country, we shall keep the item in safe keeping until further postage is arranged, payable by the customer. 

 

READY TO WEAR

Returns are only accepted for items purchased in our Ready to Wear section, when available.  If for any reason the product does not meet your expectations, you can return goods bought from us where possible, provided a return is requested within 7 days of receipt and items are returned to Maggie Mowbray Millinery within 14 days and meet the requirements outlined below. 

To return or exchange your purchase please email info@maggiemowbraymillinery.co.uk stating your request for a refund or an exchange, please provide all relevant details for the return, you will be notified how to proceed within 48 hours. You must send this email within 7 days of receiving your product.

Return postage is payable by the customer.

Original postage costs are non-refundable.

Sale items are non-returnable.

 

 

ALL MILLINERY ORDERS

Customer satisfaction is of utmost importance and if you are not completely happy with your new design, please contact us within 7 days of receipt and we shall attempt to resolve your concerns. We want you to be delighted with your new hat or headpiece!

  

CONDITIONS OF RETURN of GOODS 

All returns must be in an unworn, unmarked, as new condition and complete with their original tags in place as received.

The item must be returned in its original packaging, with all care taken to protect the hatbox and the item for its return journey.   We are entitled to make a deduction from the refund for any diminution in value of the returned goods caused by handling the item beyond what’s necessary to be sure they are what you ordered.

For items purchased in our Ready to Wear section, a refund including any standard delivery costs will be issued to the original card that was used for the purchase within 7 days of receipt of the return once the return has been inspected to ensure all criteria are met. 

 

RETURN EXCEPTIONS

Item's which have been worn, marked or damaged.

Items with tags removed, not in their original position.

Made to order, customised or bespoke.

Sale items.

 

Returning your item

Refunds are exclusive of any taxes or import duties incurred.   

You will be responsible for the cost of returning items; we recommend that you insure the parcel against loss or damage.

If you wish to report a faulty item, please contact us. Please ensure you keep all packaging to process your claim. It is also important that when you sign for your item that you ask the postal worker to mark the item as received damaged.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights.

 

 

DISTANCE SELLING REGULATIONS

 

Ready to Wear

Under the Distance Selling Regulations, customers have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of certain goods with Maggie Mowbray Millinery, applies to Ready to Wear items only not including sale items, at any time within 14 working days of the day after the day on which the customer receives the goods, referred to as the cooling-off period. To cancel your contract within the cooling-off period please notify us in writing by emailing info@maggiemowbraymillinery.co.uk

If returning goods please in the first instance please notify us in writing by emailing info@maggiemowbraymillinery.co.uk, once your request has been accepted, package the relevant goods securely and send them to us. 

If we receive notice of your cancellation of this order within the fourteen-day cooling-off period, we will refund the purchase price for that item together with any relevant standard postage charge.

 

Made to Order

 Made to order, goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised are exempt from cancellation and cooling-off period rights.

Please note that this is not a full statement of your rights under the Distance Selling Regulations.

Colours may vary due to screen resolution or suppliers fabric batches. This is not classed as faulty or a defect, swatches may be requested in advance.
